Policy Makers & Legislators

The Legislative Liaison of the Department of Aging assists legislators as well as state, county, municipal and other policy makers in gathering information to better serve their constituents. We propose and draft legislation to benefit older Ohioans and review proposed legislation to ensure that it is in the best interest of our constituents. The legislative liaison assists legislators and their constituents with any problems related to aging issues.

Brochures, Fliers and Publications - The Department of Aging can provide limited quantities of a variety of resources for you and your constituents.

Constituent Assistance - Find answers to frequently asked questions from constituents and request assistance for a specific constituent.

Testimony - Review testimony by the director of the department and others on pending and recently passed legislation.

Recent Communications - Review the latest briefings and other notices from the Department's Legislative Liaison.

Rules Center - Review currently effective rules and rule proposals by the Department of Aging and other state agencies.

Aging Program Profiles (Fact Sheets) - The Ohio Department of Aging presents this collection of fact sheets that provide background on the aging network and several of its programs for older Ohioans, their families and advocates.
